September’s Cinema Club is the dramatic comedy EDUCATING RITA starring Julie Walters & Michael Caine.

She’s a young woman looking to get ahead in the world. He’s an English professor looking at life through the bottom of a whiskey glass. He teaches her everything he knows but ends up learning much more than he would’ve believed.

Rated PG 14+ Some coarse language and adult themes

Cinema club is a special monthly *members only* movie night. We put up the big screen and play whatever movie was chosen the month before. The range is wide, with classics and more modern both being shown. It’s a fun and social night but thanks to covid, we’re not currently able to serve refreshments. Feel free to bring your own though.
Tickets are $10 for members and the first movie is FREE if you join or renew your membership (which you can do on the night if you like).
As per covid guidelines, masks are recommended but not compulsory.
