August Cinema Club

Cost: $10

Dustin Hoffman & Steve McQueen star in this 1973 classic. A French convict in the 1930s befriends a fellow criminal as the two of them begin serving their sentence in the South American penal colony on Devil’s Island, which inspires the man to plot his escape.

Cinema club is a special monthly *members only* movie night. We put up the big screen and play whatever movie was chosen the month before. The range is wide, with classics and more modern both being shown. It’s a fun and social night but thanks to covid, we’re not currently able to serve refreshments. Feel free to bring your own though.

Tickets are $10 for members and the first movie is FREE if you join or renew your membership (which you can do on the night if you like).

As per covid guidelines, masks are recommended but not compulsory.
